Milk Barfi is a classic milk sweet made with milk solids and milk powder. It is a perfect recipe for the festive season and takes around 10 mins to prepare this delicious recipe. Diwali festival is around the corner and most of us are getting ready for it by preparing sweets, snacks and also new clothes. concerning sweet, we always look for something easy and simple recipe, yet it must be considered as a premium sweet. PREPARATION TIME: 5 mins.
2 and 1/2 cup of milk powder.
1 cup of milk.
3/4 cup of sugar.
1/4 cup of ghee.
1 tbsp of cardamom powder.
2 tbsp of finely chopped almonds and pistachios (optional)
COOKING TIME:10 mins.
STEP 1: Take a pan add 2 and 1/2 cup of milk powder, 1 cup of milk, and 3/4 cup of sugar, and milk well until no lumps are formed.
STEP2: Add 1/4 cup of ghee and mix it well until combined.
STEP 3: Keep mixing until it starts to thicken and separates from the pan. It takes around 5 mins to thicken. Once it starts to separate add 1 tbsp of cardamom powder and milk it well.
STEP4: Grease the mold with ghee and garnish with almonds and pistachios.Let it set it the refrigerator for 1 hour
STEP5: Cut into small squares and itis ready to serve.
