Mcdonalds is a very famous food chain all around the globe. People from various age groups enjoy having great meals at this food junction. I have tried to recreate the Mcdonalds Spicy Paneer Wrap which is a healthy meal served at Mcdonalds. Hope you enjoy this recipe. This blog has a detailed recipe with reference photos.
200 gms paneer.
4 tbsp of tomato sauce.
4 tbsp of mayonnaise.
2 tbsp of shezwan chutney.
1 cup bread crumbs.
1 cup nachos
1 tbsp red chili powder.
1 tsp salt.
3 tbsp of cornstarch.
1 cup maida/ all-purpose flour.
1 cup thinly sliced onions.
1cup chopped lettuce.
STEP1: Take a bowl to add 4 tbsp of tomato sauce, 4 tbsp of mayonnaise, and 2 tbsp pf shezwan chutney you can add or reduce the amount of shezwan chutney as per your spice preference.
STEP2: Mix all the sauces it will look something like this.
FOR THE PANEER PATTY.
STEP1: Take 1 cup of bread crumbs and 1 cup of crushed nachos here i have used cheese nachos you can choose the nacho as per your preference, Mix them and lay them in a flat plate.
STEP2: Take a bowl to add 3 tbsp of cornstarch, 1 tbsp of red chili powder, and salt as per taste, and add 3 tbsp of water and mix it well.
STEP3: Take 200 gms of paneer and cut them into cubes, dip it in the slurry, and then cover it with the crumbs that we prepared.
STEP 4: It will look something like this. Let it sit for 5 mins.
STEP5: Deep fry them until golden brown.
FOR THE TORTILLAS. ( this step is optional you can use store brought tortillas.)
STEP1: Take 1 cup of all-purpose flour add 1 tbsp of salt and knead the dough and let it sit.
STEP2: Roll them out and cook them halfway.
FOR THE ASSEMBLY.
STEP1: Take a tortilla layer with a generous amount of the prepared sauce.
STEP2: Add the onions and lettuce to the tortilla.
STEP3: Add the patty and add grated cheese on top, and roll it.
STEP4: You can toast it on a pan or a griller. Grease it with butter and grill it until slightly brown.
STEP5: Serve it hot with ketchup!
