Eggless Vanilla sponge cake is one of the most popular cakes around the world. This cake recipe has no butter and no maida and is very delicious! Today's Eggless Vanilla Cake recipe is so simple that you can make it all in one bowl. Just grab your mixing bowl; add the dry and wet ingredients, mix, transfer to a baking dish, and bake. Can it be more simpler?
PREPARATION TIME: 15 mins.
TIP: For a better result use all ingredients at room temperature!
1 and 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour/ maida.
1/2 cup of oil.
3/4 cup of sugar.
1 cup of dahi.
1/2 tbsp of baking soda.
1 tbsp of baking powder.
1 tbsp of vanilla essence.
COOKING TIME: 40mins.
STEP1: Take a bowl add 3/4 cup of sugar, 1 cup of dahi mix it well until the sugar is dissolved.
STEP2: Add 1/2 cup of oil and vanilla essence and mix it well until well combined.
STEP3: Once the wet ingredients are well combined add 1 and 1/2 cup of flour, 1/2 tbsp of baking soda, 1 tbsp of baking powder, and mix it well.
STEP4: Grease the mold with some melted butter and add the batter to the mold and bake it at 180 degrees for about 35minutes ( this recipe makes 2 small cakes)
STEP5: Let it cool at room temperature before you de-mold the cake and it is ready to serve!
