Salted Caramel Milkshake is one of my favorite kind of milkshake, anything with caramel is just delicious
It is made with creamy vanilla ice-cream with homemade caramel sauce. Topped with whipping cream and a little drizzle of caramel sauce. It is a detailed recipe for salted caramel sauce!
PREPARATION TIME: 10mins.
1 cup of sugar.
1/3 cup of water.
2 tbsp of butter.
3/4 cup of room temperature fresh cream.
STEP1: Take a heavy bottom pan to add 1 cup of sugar and layer it evenly and add 1/3 cup of water do not mix or else the sugar will crystalize. Cook it on medium heat.
STEP2: When the sugar starts to bubble just move the pan and use all clean utensils it will start to crystalize add 2 tbsp of lemon if required.
STEP3: We want a dark golden color so to check that take a white plate and add a drop if the color is light as in the picture let it cook more if it has reached the dark color set it off the heat or it will start burning.
STEP4: It should look like this and put it off the heat.
STEP5: Add 3/4 cup fresh cream it will start boiling vigorously keep a safe distance and mix it well and add 2 tbsp of butter and mix it well. Add it back to the heat and let it boil.
STEP6: Transfer it to an airtight bowl and refrigerate and can be used in various desserts of your choice.
STEP7: For the milkshake take 3 scoops of vanilla milkshake and 2 tbsp of salted caramel sauce and 1/2 cup of milk and blend it all together.
STEP8: Take a glass drizzle a little sauce on the glass and add the milkshake and add a lot of whipping cream on top! and is ready to serve.
