There are several variations and varieties to this hugely popular pancakes recipe, each country across the globe have its own variations and style which varies with its thickness, way of preparing, and of course with its servings. this recipe is a simple pancake recipe without eggs. And the theme is Republic Day inspired you can totally skip the food color part!
PREPARATION TME:10 mins.
2 cups of all-purpose flour/maida/ refined flour.
2 tbsp of sugar.
1 tbsp of baking powder.
1/2 tbsp of baking soda.
pinch of salt.
1/2 cup of milk.
2 tbsp of melted butter.
COOKING TIME: 20 mins.
STEP1:Take a bowl add 2 cups of all-purpose flour/ maida or you can use wheat flour/ atta for a healthy option. Add 2 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of baking powder, 1/2 tbsp of baking soda, a pinch of salt, and 2 tbsp of melted butter and mix it well.
Step 2: Add 1/2 cup of milk until a smooth flowing consistency is formed.
STEP3: (OPTIONAL) divide the batter into three parts and add orange and green food color and mix well.
STEP4: Grease the pan with a little butter and add the batter on the pan and flip on the other side when the bubble starts to form.
STEP5: Serve hot with maple syrup and fresh fruits of your choice!
