Kalakand is one of my most favorite sweets from all the Indian sweets. This recipe is being prepared with only three ingredients and turns out to be so delicious. It is an exotic dish prepared with paneer and milkmaid. You can make this recipe for special occasions or festivals live Diwali, Navratri, or even Holi.
250 gms of paneer.
1 can of the milkmaid.
2 tbsp of milk powder.
LET'S GET STARTED!!
STEP1: Take a pan add 250 gms of shredded paneer, 1 can of a milkmaid, and 2 tbsp of milk powder, and mix it well.
STEP2: Cook it at medium heat. Keep on mixing so it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Mix and mash so that there are no lumps in the mixture.
STEP3: Continuously keep on mixing until it starts to thicken. Add cardamom powder to the mix to give it some flavor.
STEP4: Take a mold of your choice and grease it with some ghee and transfer the mix to the mold. Using the back of the spoon even it out and you can garnish it with some finely chopped almonds or pistachios.
STEP5: Refrigerate for about 1-2 hours and cut them into pieces and it is ready to be served.
